My Creative Space

This morning I decided to participate in Our Creative Spaces. It’s an open to anyone who creates a weekly blogging theme that I found through Plushka Craft blog of a very talented crafty girl. The idea is to post a photo from your creative space every Thursday to share what you’re working on that day! It’s not the only reason I decided to commit to this theme, but to add a discipline to my blogging routine. So from now on every Thursday I will blog about my creative space and what I am up to.

This morning my creative space was my bedroom, where I took photos of my new cushion covers for my Etsy shop.

Would you like to see more creative spaces? Enjoy here.

Once a week # 14

My “once a week” thing really suffering here 😦 just like me without real art project.

With day to day life it’s easy to get distracted and forget about your internal needs.

Here is my way to let some creativity out off my system.

Little mess with water based textile inks on organic cotton.

Building up stock

I spent past few days in a studio printing as many quarters of fabric as I can, for an upcoming Finders Keepers, time flying fast and I am worrying I won’t be able to get done all the things that I have planed, but hey, I am trying and most important I am having fun!

Inside…

…it’s not permanent but temporary, a community space where we are artists, designers, printers sharing one corner. Myself and other four girls Anna, Carizza, Cecilia and Laura grouped together, to bring best out of each other, help printing, share enthusiasm, inspiration and various business responsibilities. It’s comforting to work knowing that we have each other to support, push and motivate to go forward. We named our collaboration “Collectivism”. We are all from different backgrounds with our own ideas and styles, and this is great because it is creates a variety of products for Collectivism. If you want to check out what we are creating or if you just want to chat, please visit us at Finders Keepers Market  in Sydney on 20 and 21 of May where we will have a table!

Sketches

I am in process of making bags, I have not finally decided what kind of designs I will use for my bags, but hoping to get them done by the end of next week and at least one by this Sunday for photo shoot.  For this bags I am using my ‘Knock-Knock” design that been screen printed on heavy weigh pure cotton fabric and soft brown leather.
