Look what I received in the mail today. Eeli-Ethel Polli’s art!

The Birthday present from myself to myself 🙂 I have been dreaming of having her work in my house; I feel so joyful when I see Eeli’s work. Isn’t it awesome to have things in your home that always makes you happy?

I purchased one original abstract painting with beautiful layers and textures and a print with the cat (sure you know that I am mad about cats). But Eeli was so kind, she included in the package her new Peony postcard and promo card, they are lovely and will be framed too. Ah, I am a happy girl!

Painting..

I painted not for anything, just for fun. Painting is truly therapeutic process. No thoughts, no vision of what painting will look like at the end… just paint. Where ever the process will take… no fear of making it wrong.

Been sick for a few days and its is not fun, sore red nose, sleepless nights, fever…yuck…this time it’s so severe that I think I have managed to get the men flu. Shhh… don’t tell my husband its always has been his privilege. But one of the good sides of being sick is that I have to take it slow, not to worry just for a few days, to revalue, to write to do lists, to refocus on things that actually matter.

In slow gear I managed to paint my favorite parfumes not much but something.

With day to day life it’s easy to get distracted and forget about your internal needs.

Long time no post, been busy developing new designs, painting, photographing, setting up my online shop, ( Etsy store coming up soon) and in the mornings I am taking time to work on  preparation of  a tutorial on fabric stamping that I want to post here, I think that I will get through it in next two days, so stay tuned.

Number ten this week flowers again, you probably all already know that I am simply attracted to any vegetation. Materials used: gouache and white gel pen.
